On Aug. 18, 2023, Scott died from a massive heart attack in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, at the age of 57.

Celebration of Life from noon to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at Noelridge Park, Cedar Rapids, at the ITC Pavilion.

Scott (Scotty) Bohnenkamp was born on July 23, 1966, in Manchester, Iowa, to Ted J. and Ruthann (Duncan) Bohnenkamp. Scott was a friend to many and he will be missed by all in his circle of friends. Scott enjoyed being outside.

Scott is survived by his father, Ted J Bohnenkamp; sister, Sherrie (Darren) Blakesley; nephew, Danny Blakesley; and close friend Lori Surrett.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Ruthann (William) Duncan.
