Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Alex and Jaison (Kathryn), her parents, John & Marcia, 5 siblings, Brian (Jennifer) Monk, Stacey (Brian) Coens, Andrea Bagby, Nicole (Russell) Stoneking, Justin (Abbey) Monk, her cherished 15 nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mark and Luella Beckman, John and Marie Monk, and her cousins Jason Beckman and Jessica Timp.

Sarah Lynn Monk was born April 1, 1976, in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She graduated from Monticello High School with the Class of 1994 and earned her college degree at Loras College in Dubuque. She was employed by McKesson Corporation as a System Administrator.

Sarah was most proud of being a mother to her sons, Alex and Jaison. Growing up, her boys always enjoyed playing with their animals, going to parks, arguing over who loved who more, watching movies and her amazing cooking skills.

She loved gardening, baking, her family, being with her tight knit group of friends and especially her animals. She found great enjoyment being with her “someday” dog, “Maverick” and her horse “Cowboy”.

We know she lives on through her selfless act of organ donation and find great comfort knowing her gifts have given life to so many others.

Her daily dose of wit, humor and brutal honesty will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, please direct contributions to the family.
