Sally Cook

Sally Cook, 67, of Hendersonville passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Elizabeth House.

A native of Charlotte, NC, Sally was the daughter of Ann Nuckolls Cook and the late Peter Cook.

She was earned her Bachelor’s degree from Emory & Henry College. She worked most of her career as an editor and journalist in the newspaper industry. A member of St. James Episcopal Church, Sally was an avid reader and enjoyed nature, hiking, and gardening.

She is survived by her spouse, Art Perry; her son, Eric Anderson and his wife, Melissa McKay; her mother, Ann Cook; her sister, Kathy Cook of Santa Fe, NM; and two brothers, Peter Cook of Anderson, SC and Chris Cook of Woodstock, GA.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
