Sabrina Delores Jordan-DuPree went to be with her Lord and Savior at 7:53 am, Friday, February 11, 2022. She was born January 12, 1967 into the union of Alvis and Delores Berry of Springfield.
God bestowed life upon the world with many people, and Sebrina was one of them. Her love for God justified in her a zest for life and love for her family. Many gifts were given to Sabrina. She was introduced to Christ at an early age. She would sing at home with her mother, Delores and her whole family. Sabrina also accepted Christ at an early age where she worshipped in the home based church that her grandmother, Marianna Burnes founded.
Sabrina graduated high school in Springfield, Illinois, and continued her education thru college and medical school in St. Louis, MO, which would later in life help her to navigate her illness and health by begcominig an advocate for bone marrow and stem cell research. She was a recipient from one of her children, Cortney DuPree; a perfect match. During her journey Sabrina found a greater calling and received her Master’s Degree of Ministry. While abiding and spreading the word, she then created a prayer line with her cousin, Mahogany. They would talk for hours and hours and marvel about the Lord.
She kept her faith in God, and continued to move forward. Pursuing to start her own business, Sabrina developed and produced her soap care line with “natural” ingredients for all types of skin, which was becoming very popular with family and friends throughout her hometown.
Sabrina also enjoyed shopping, taking care of her plants and cats. She loved wearing her beautiful hats.
Sabrina was a devoted mother and grandmother. A loving daughter, a special sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend.
Through her journey her faith, hope and spirit never wavered. She had a great sence of humor and a big beautiful smile, that would light up the world. Sabrina has been a dedicated member of Shekinah Glory Ministries, presiding pastor Gregory Tyus of Springfield, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alvis Berry, Sr., brother, Jonnie B. Jordan, sister, Elouise Jordan and grandparents, James W. and Marianna Burnes.
