Ruth Bush

Ruth Bush (nee Martin) was born March 30, 1927 in Booneville, Mississippi to Carse Martin and Lenora Fredonia Martin (nee Fryer). She was the youngest of five children. She married Sim E. Bush, January 22, 1949.

Ruth departed this life on Thursday, January 14, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; three sisters, Naomi Womack, Erlene Miller, and Virgia Boyd; brother, James “Gee” Martin; her daughter, May Smith; and son, Michael Bush. She leaves to honor and cherish her life, her son, Terry Bush (Janice) and daughter, Linda Amos; and the two nieces she raised; Alma Martin and Marie (Renell) Martin Brown; son-in-law, Darryl Smith; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
