Roy D. Cameron, 77, of Mansfield, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 21, 2021.
Roy was the son of Vernon and Agnes (Gregg) Cameron. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio on March 16, 1943. He retired after 40 years of dedicated employment from MTD Willard. Roy was a man who lived life letting things roll off his back and he never held a grudge. He was most certainly a family first man. He was very caring, loving and very family focused. He loved when his family was together for family get togethers. He enjoyed building things, working on cars, driving and traveling on vacations.
Roy leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Roy Cameron Jr. and David (Melissa) Cameron; his grandchildren, Trent and Abigail Cameron; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Glen Cameron, Blanch Howard, Vernon Cameron Jr., Betty King, Paul Cameron, Laura Ackerman, Paulean Cameron, Carl Cameron, Dorothy Smith, Gary Cameron, and Diane Hedrick.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 am on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road. Services will follow immediately at 11:00 am. Roy will be laid to rest at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
