Rosalee Hines

Rosalee Hines, 87, of Fletcher, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Park Ridge Hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Lola and Isabelle Barnwell.  She is also preceded in death by two husbands, Major Lee Shipley, Jr. and Dan Hines; three sons, Roger Shipley, Ronnie Shipley, and Ricky Shipley; two sisters, Idabelle Stepp and Pauline Wilkie; and a granddaughter, Angie Noble.

Rosalee worked as a seamstress most of her life.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

Rosalee is survived by a daughter, Claudia Shipley of Fletcher; two sons, Major Lee Shipley, III and his wife Annette of Dana and David Shipley and his wife Ada Jane of Fletcher; five grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Phillip Trees officiating.
