Ronald Wayne Ewoldsen

Ronald Wayne Ewoldsen, age 86, passed away from this life on Monday, April 24, 2023.

Celebration of Life: 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at his nephew’s house (Mark), 10649 Bluestone Road, Fort Worth, Texas.

Interment: 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2023, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211  

Ron was born September 20, 1936 to Herman F. Ewoldsen and Nola A. Oxenreider Ewoldsen as their 2nd child. He was raised in Woodburn IA and went to Woodburn High School. He left school and joined the U.S. Air Force in January 1955 and was honorably discharged in December 1958 as an Airman 1st Class. He then went to work for Anchorage Scales for many years. His most beloved job was being a school bus driver.

Ronald was preceded in death by his older sister, Janice E. Johnson in November 2020.

He is survived by his younger sister, Carol Morehouse of Osceola IA; eight nieces and nephews and their spouses who all adored him, along with many friends.
