Ronald Floyd Williams entered eternal life peacefully on Oct. 6, 2023, at Winslow House Care Center in Marion, Iowa. A private service was held.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia, just nine months ago. Ronald is survived by his son, Todd Williams, and daughter,

Tammy (Williams) Roberts. He was blessed with three granddaughters, Sara Roberts, Katherine (Roberts) Wood and Shauna Williams. His great-grandchildren Jackson and Natalie Fink were the light of his life. His fur baby, Lucy, misses him very much.

Ronald Williams was born on Jan. 21, 1937, the son of Floyd and Ella (Webster) Williams. He was very proud to have served in the United States Navy. He married the love of his life, Patricia Foley, on Oct. 23, 1961. They were married for over 61 years and shared an unconditional love most will never know.

He was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan and watching the girls basketball team make it to the Final Two was a highlight in the final months of his life. Go Hawkeyes! Ronald was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved his family very much. He was loved and will be missed by many.
