Ron von Helms
Ronald “Ron” von Helms, age 61, passed away on June 2, 2021. Beloved son of Rolf and the late Lorraine, nee Luck. Dear brother to Roy (Cindy) von Helms. Cherished uncle to Nicolle, Zac, and Austin. Ron was very active in the Special Olympics in Swimming and Track and Field. He enjoyed bowling, T.V., music and dancing, and had a love for watches. He was a diligent assembly line worker in Elgin and Medford, WI. He loved to tease his younger brother, and loved to laugh. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 8, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy. Palatine IL. from 9:00-11:00am. A prayer service will be held at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove. For more information please call 847-359-8020
