Rodrigo Escalara

Rodrigo Escalara, 62, beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

Rosary and Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11am at the Wiley Funeral Home Glen Rose Chapel, 504 Holden St., in Glen Rose.

Rodrigo was born on March 13, 1960, in Durango, Mexico, to Federico and Marcia Escalara.  He married Leticia Mojica and together had 3 sons, Carlos Escalara, Rodrigo, Jr. Escalara, and Freddy Escalara. Rodrigo enjoyed fishing, taking care of his cattle, and listening to music. He will always be remembered for being a hard worker and for his strong work ethic. Rodrigo will affectionately be remembered for the loyalty and dedication he had for his beloved family.

Rodrigo is survived by his wife, Leticia Escalara; his sons, Carlos Escalara, Rodrigo Escalara and wife Alejandra and Freddy Escalara and wife Brittney; his grandchildren, Sophia, Oliver, and Christian Escalara; his sisters, Guadalupe and Luz Escalara; his brothers, Federico, Manuel, and Jaime Escalara; and by numerous aunts and uncles.

Rodrigo was preceded in death by his parents.

Services under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home, Glen Rose, Texas.
