Robert Scott

Robert (Bob) Scott went home to walk the streets of gold with his Lord and Savior January 28, 2022. Bob was born November 8, 1936, in Norfolk, Virginia. Raised around flowers and greenhouses all his life it would become a passion. Although, his main passion was his love for his Savior and serving his local church. Followed very closely was his deep love and commitment to his one true love, his wife Rachel. He loved his children and their families dearly. Bob had a true heart for people and always there to offer comfort and support to anyone who needed it. He lived a life showing his love and dedication to Go and his family.

He enjoyed 35 years in landscape at Colonial Williamsburg. He extended comfort to families for 10 years working at Bucktrout Funeral Home and to him, maybe the most important, were the many positions he held at his church.

Bob his survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rachel. His daughter, Leigh Anne Roberts, and husband James. His son, Timothy Scott, and wife Elizabeth, and three grandsons, Justice Scott, Andrew Roberts, and Jayden Scott.

A service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 12:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Williamsburg. The family will hold a private interment prior to the service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bucktrout Funeral Home.
