Richard Fabrice Alexander

With profound sorrow we announce that Richard “Rick” Fabrice Alexander age 56 passed away on Jan 4, 2021. Those who new Rick, even just a little will always remember his larger than life personality, his quick wit to every encounter, and nothing was more important to him than sharing a laugh with those he loved. His laugh was infectious and memorable, Truly a funny guy.
Rick was the  beloved son of the late Diana (SanRoman) Biesterfeldt and Richard Alexander. Loving father of Ryan, Kaitlyn and Kiley Alexander. Beloved Brother of Tracey Biesterfeldt (Michael Gallagher) and Anne Grimes (late Martin Grimes). Fun loving uncle to Quinn,Beau, and Vivienne, and dear friend to many. In the last 6 years of his life he was blessed to meet his beloved partner Lisa Venegas.
Rick was a member of Chicago Board of Trade for 30 yrs,  owner operator of his own mosquito abatement business for 20 yrs, and wore many hats along his journey from acting as Ricky Cancel, to his UGottaBeef business. He was above all an avid and passionate outdoorsman who would spend countless hours hunting, fishing, and enjoying nature. He embraced all the people he met along the way and loved to share stories of all lifes adventures.

A memorial celebration of Ricky’s life will take place at a later date to be announced.

We know prayers will be said for Ricky in Chicago and all the places he touched in his 56 years. In Rickys style he will be prayed for this Sunday on the other side of the world.  In a small country church perched on the Atlantic Ocean.  Due to the time difference the mass will be taking place at 11:00 am Irish time which translates to 5:00 am chicago time.   Below is the link to the church.
