Philip James Sperfslage, 73, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away surrounded by his loving family at Harmony Cedar Rapids in Cedar Rapids, on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023.

Survivors include his daughter, Cari (Ramon) Redondo of Marion; two stepchildren, Troy (Tracey) Eickstaedt of Tallahassee, Fla., and Alicia (Shawn) Kimball of Indianola; four grandchildren, Haley (Mitch), Dominique (Eli), Ray, and Adeline; four great-grandchildren, Kinnley, Kason, Eloise, and Carter; one sister, Kaye Wall of Delhi; two brothers, Mark (JoEllen) Sperfslage of Bettendorf and Paul (Ann) Sperfslage of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phil’s memory to the Iowa City or Dubuque VA Medical Facilities.

Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, Iowa, with Reverend Kurt Pasko officiating.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, Iowa.

Inurnment with Military Rites: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Earlville, Iowa.
