Pearl Louise Vance

Pearl Louise Vance, 82, of New Philadelphia, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Joseph Benjamin and Emma Louise (Holloway) Milburn, Pearl was born November 12, 1938 in Dennison, Ohio.

Pearl enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping and spending time at Clendening Lake with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards, visiting casinos, flowers and finding yard sales. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her wonderful cooking and baking skills. Most of all, Pearl cherished her grandchildren and spending time with them.

She is survived by her sons, Leslie D. Lendon of Dover and James D. (Amy) Vance and William C. (Cheri) Vance both of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Dale (Autumn) Lendon Jr, Madison R. Lendon, Savanna (James Wynn) Vance, MacKenzie Louise Vance, Logan Clive Vance and Clayton (Eliza Jayne) Thompson; her great-grandchildren, Kierian, Jackson, Easton and Weston Lendon and Maizey Rose Wynn; her siblings, June (Ralph) White, Myra (Steve) Allan and Roy (Pam) Milburn.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Leslie Junior Lendon; her second husband, William G. Vance and her siblings, Joe, Butch, Dorothy, Ben and Bob.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Pearl’s life will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
