Patsy Wylodene Brown (Dene) Blaylock

Patsy Wylodene Brown (Dene) Blaylock, 89, passed away November 22, 2021 in Granbury, Texas. A visitation will be held from 10am until service time on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Thorp Spring. A service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Thorp Spring. Interment will be held at Holly Hills Memorial Park.

Dene was born July 16, 1932 in Vienna, Georgie to Lucille Draughon and James T. Brown. Dene worked for many years as an office manager for an oil field construction company. Later she was a collector of antiques and vintage clothing. She did volunteer fashion shows for Goodwill Industries. She loved being a mother to her children.

Dene was preceded in death by her son Robert Dale Blaylock, Jr. (Bobby), her parents Lucille and James Brown, four brothers and one sister.

Dene is survived by her husband of 54 years: Robert D. “Bob” Blaylock and daughter: Patti Hay and husband Steve.
