Pat loved his job and those he worked with considering many of his co-workers to be family.

Not only was Pat a talented artist; he took great pride in his family and being a devoted father and husband. He enjoyed helping on the Turner Family Farm, riding four wheelers, mushroom hunting, spending time around the campfire, and was in the process of building a log cabin on the family homestead. Additionally, Pat was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and in his younger years, was known to take the stage as the vocalist for the local Rock Band, Amethyst.

He will be deeply missed by his wife and companion of 37 years, whom he married on July 13, 1984, the former Patricia Turner; their children, Joshua (Heather) McHenry of Stone Creek and Samantha (Michael) Hardy of New Philadelphia; a step-granddaughter, Araiya Hardy; his sister, Bridget Western of Uhrichsville; two nieces, Michelle Haga and Bobbie Jo Western; a nephew, Joe Western and their families.

Completing the family are his mother-in-law, Pat Turner of New Philadelphia, his sisters-in-law, Jackie (Darrell Everly) and Charlene (Edward) Diehl all of New Philadelphia; a brother-in-law, Randy Kinsey of Newcomerstown and their families.

In addition to his father, mother, and step-father, Pat was preceded in death by a brother, Michael McHenry, his father-in-law, Lewis Turner and a brother-in-law, Chuck Western.

A private burial will take place in the Turner Family Cemetery. A celebration of Pat’s life is being planned for a time where the weather will permit outdoor gatherings and the health safety of all guests can be considered.
