Patricia “Pat” A. Falzone

Patricia “Pat” A. Falzone, 85, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at her home. She was born September 8, 1936 in Springfield, IL to Otto and Loretta (Ring) McMurray. She married Paul C. Falzone December 18, 1954 and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2009.

Also preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, Alfred, Donald and Otto McMurray; one infant sister, Lawanda; and son-in-law, Marc Swiney.
She is survived by her two daughters, Paula Whitehead and Pam Swiney, both of Springfield; two grandchildren, Amber (Joey Miller) Whitehead and Brandy Whitehead, both of Springfield; three great-grandchildren, Kylie, JP and Mason; one son-in-law, Jeff Whitehead of Springfield; two sisters, Bonnie Lindsey of Springfield and Glenda (Steve) Allison; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patricia enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching movies, listening to Christian music, and loved seeing what she could find at yard sales. Above all, she always wanted to find ways to help and take care of her family.

She provided for her family as a homemaker all her life.

She was an active member of Real Life Church in Springfield.

Visitation: 12 – 1 pm, Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Graveside Service: 2 pm, Thursday, October 8, 2021 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Pastor Clint Cook officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Real Life Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
