Patricia Lou Gardner

Patricia Lou (Parsons) Gardner, of Dover, passed away after an 8 year battle with cancer on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 3, 1955, in Akron, OH, to the late Floyd and Betty Parsons. She graduated from Indian Valley South High School. She was the owner and operator of Brightwood Daycare from 2000 through 2006.

Pat loved doing ceramics, jigsaw puzzles and having family get togethers. She retired to North Port, Florida in 2014. She relocated back to Dover in 2019 to be close to her family.

Pat is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Thomas Gardner, Jr.; her daughters Jennifer (Nathan) McGee of Dennison, and Amy (Travis) Stilgenbauer of New Philadelphia; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; her brother Harold Parsons; and her dear friend of 55 years, Nancy Clouse.

Cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home. There are no services planned.
