Patricia A. Coon

Patricia A. Coon, 80 of Sherman, passed away at 10:23 am, Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born in Springfield, the daughter of Stanley and Theresa (Ogez) Nation. She married Charles Richard “Rich” Coon on March 3, 1972 and he survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Sarah (Terry) Roderick of Sherman and Wendy (Michael) Armijo of Colorado Springs, CO; one son, Michael (Lisa) Koleske of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Brittany (Joe) Genovese, Evan (Anne) Hocking, Brandan (Jamie) Koleske, Katie and Nicole Koleske, Zoe, Ian, and Piper Armijo.

Pat is a lifelong resident of the Springfield area and retired after 45 years of service as a travel agent co-owning, Springfield Travel Shoppe.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and after retirement was a long-time volunteer for Mission Outreach. Pat also enjoyed cross stitching, bowling and traveling.

Visitation: 2-5 pm, Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 10 am, Monday, February 20, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend James Stuenkel officiating. Private burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mission Outreach or Remember Museum in Belgium.
