Pastor Jerald (J.D.) Notgrass

Pastor Jerald (J.D.) Notgrass, 84, went Home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 19,2022 in Burleson. He was born September 20,1937 in Ranger, Texas to T.T. and Maggie Powell Notgrass.

Rev. Notgrass (J.D.) as he was affectionately known was a great Pastor who built many churches over the years. He was a member of the Family United Pentecostal Church in Cleburne and the Calvary Church of Granbury. J.D. was a very generous individual and kind to humanity. He was a great father and a very loving husband. He was truly a man of God.

J.D. was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Margie Lee Notgrass and by a stepson, Angelino Arcovio.

He is survived by his loving wife of (30) years, Gayle Arcovio-Notgrass; daughter, Yonda Schwarz and husband David; son, Dennis Notgrass and wife Lynda; stepchildren, Christina Steadman and husband Mark, John Arcovio and wife Jennifer, Raymond Arcovio, Jr. and Sheila Hanuska and husband Heath; four grandchildren, Tonya Schwarz, Andrea Williams and husband Kent, Amy Peterson and husband Bumper, and Chad Notgrass and wife Virginia; (14) step-grandchildren, numerous great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as many extended family and church family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 6pm. to 8pm. Thursday, September 22,2022 at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm. Friday, September 23,2022 at the Calvary Church of Granbury, 4800 Glen Rose Hwy. (Hwy.144) Granbury, 76048. Burial will follow at Acton Cemetery in Acton/Granbury, Texas.
