Pamela Jean Boyd

Pamela Jean Boyd, age 53 of Rockford, IL passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born on November 10, 1967 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Earl and Sandra (Swenson) Marshall.

Pamela was united in marriage on August 14, 1993 to Mr. Robert Boyd and spent the next 19 years together until his passing on May 9, 2012. She was a 1986 graduate of the Hinckley-Big Rock High School in Hinckley, IL. Mrs. Boyd was the manager, for many years, of the Subway sandwich shop in the Road Rancher Plaza off Rt. 90. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Pamela is survived by her son, Christian Boyd of Rockford, IL; her parents, Earl and Sandy Marshall of Sugar Grove, IL; her brothers, Kevin (Colleen) Marshall of Big Rock, IL and David Marshall of Sugar Grove, IL; also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Boyd.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 North Maple Street, Hinckley, IL. Interment will follow in the Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb, IL.

Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Nash-Nelson Funeral Home in Hinckley, IL.
