Otis S. Moore

Otis S. Moore, age 78, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Four Seasons Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.  A native of Transylvania County, North Carolina, born on June 18, 1944, he was the son of the late Otis Solomon Moore and Malvenia McCall Moore.

Following high school, Otis joined the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Texas, and four years later was honorably discharged.  While stationed in Texas he met his wife, Sue Ellen, and they later owned and operated an antique mall.  Retiring in 2008, Otis and Sue Ellen moved back to Hendersonville where they continued in the antique business.  Otis had many friends within the antique community, both in Texas and in North Carolina.

He is survived by, in addition to his loving wife of 54 years, Sue Ellen Moore; one daughter, Kim Moore; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

In keeping with Mr. Moore’s wishes, no services are planned.
