Otis Roosevelt Andrews Sr.

Otis R. (Andy) Andrews 83 of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on August 27, 2021.
Otis was born in Sandersville, Georgia on July 29, 1938. He moved with family to Canton, Ohio and attended Timken High School, after graduation, Otis enlisted into the United States army from June 1957 to December 1957 and was honorably discharged. Otis reenlisted on February of 1958 into United States Airforce, where he served as an APR medical administrative specialist and was Honorably discharged September 14, 1960.
Otis met Emma while he was stationed at Richard-Gebaur Air Force in Missouri. They were joined in holy matrimony on June 21, 1961, to this union three children were born.
In 1965, Otis and Emma moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he was employed at Alcoa for several years and was later employed with greater Cleveland Regional transit system until his retirement. Otis enjoyed vacationing with all his family, he loved taking cruises and dancing. Otis favorite quotes were: “You can do anything cause you’re an Andrews” & “guess were headed to God’s country” “Cleveland, Ohio”
Otis is preceded in death by his oldest son, Otis D. Andrews, his parents Ivy & Ella, his sister Inez Gibbons and his brother Fred Andrews.
Otis is survived by his beloved wife, Emma Andrews; his two children Carolyn Myers of Natchez Ms. Darren. (Margret) Andrews of Pinkerington, Ohio, Daughter-in-law, Donna (Otis Darrell) (deceased) Andrews Brothers; Valton Underwood of Atlanta, Georgia, George Jordan of Lavonia, Michigan; 3 devoted sisters-in-law, Sadie Brook of Las Vegas, Berda Warren of K.C., MO., Ginette Andrews (Reynoldsburg, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Oriele, Jerron, Darian, Maya, Kisha, Pittarius, Ebony and Terrell. Great-grandchildren; Cori, Cordell, Sir Chaz, Josiah, Radarius, Diamond Nybria, Tryic, Kaliv, Bennie, Taliah and a devoted Neice, Gloria Gregory of Detroit, Michigan, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews, cousins and friends.
