Norma J. Cramer
Norma J. Cramer 85, of Springfield, died at 5:13 pm, Monday, January 16, 2023 at Carlinville Hospital. She was born April 23, 1937 in Champaign, to Edward and Helen Cox Kloker. She married Earl Cramer on June 2, 1962 and he preceded her in death on August 16, 2005.
Survivors include one son, Henry Edward “Ed” (Kelly) Cramer of Springfield; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Carter) Wilkey of Chatham and Collin Cramer of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Herb and Jim Kloker.
Norma was a graduate of Beardstown High School and attended Carthage College. She was a die-hard democrat and Chicago Cubs Fan. She loved to golf and play slot machines.
She worked in engineering for Illinois Bell Telephone Company, and for Franklin Life Insurance Company, retiring in 1997. She worked as a Bus Monitor and Lunchroom and recess monitor for District 186 at Wilcox and Fairview Schools.
Visitation: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm, Monday, January 23, 2023 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Funeral Service: 12:30 pm, Monday, January 23, 2023 with Reverend Justin Snider officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
