Myrtle Eva Bailey

Myrtle Eva Bailey, 100, passed away in Williamsburg on January 15, 2021.  She is predeceased by her husband, James R. Bailey, Sr., her son, James R. Bailey, Jr. and a great grandson Griffin Wilder Clark. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Wilder (Chip); daughter-in-law, Louise Bailey Bennett; grandchildren, Thom Wilder, Robin Bailey, Cindy Clark and Kathy Griffin; 11 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Myrtle was a member of Smith Memorial Baptist church and retired from WJCC Schools. Myrtle’s favorite quote was “I love everyone in my family.” Due to COVID, a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Smith Memorial Baptist Church Senior Group, 6515 Richmond Rd. Williamsburg, VA 23188.
