Ms. Lily M. Brown

Lily M. Brown was called home on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the age of 91 years.

Service: A Private Family Graveside Service, Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington.

Lily M. Brown was born in Saginaw, Texas on January 30, 1931 to parents Eldred and Lola Allcock.

Lily was a widow after being married on October 11, 1946 to the love of her life for 42 years. She loved butterflies and proudly collected bells from everywhere.  Lily was a homemaker and loved to sew, making quilts for her family and friends.

Lily was 19 days short of reaching her 92nd birthday but was ready to go Home and be with loved ones and friends.

Lily was a member of Northwest Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Lester Delvin Brown, Sr.; son, Delvin Brown, Jr.; and great-grandson, Brantley Aaron Brown.

Survivors: Lily is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sharon Brown; daughters, Debbie McClurkan (Allan), Brenda Reed (Rick); son, Rick Brown (Debbie); grandchildren, Greg Brown, Leslye Brown, Jill Townsend (Mike), Briget Haney (Larry), Karlee Hart (DJ), Meagan Wildfong (Dan), Zac Reed (Tiffany), Josh Reed (Hollee), Lauren Thane (Hunter), Derick Brown (Casey), Jaimee Kraft (Wallace) and Trey Brown (Blair); nineteen great-grandchildren, and was affectionately called “Nanny”.
