Micheline Dimond

Micheline A. Dimond, nee Ghisolfo, age 91, of Chicago passed away peacefully on July 29th surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late James Dimond. Devoted mother to Dolores Kaitschuck, John (Kathy) Dimond, Jeanne Pinkerton, and Suzanne (Ed) Coren. Cherished “Mémé” to Dale (Tammie) Rawls, Jackie (Chris) Yum, Sean (Julie) Dimond, James (Sierra) Pinkerton, and Kelsey (Erik) Loualiche. Adored great “Mémé” to Cheyenne, Kodi, Christopher, Francesca, and Montgomery. Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, and cousins here and in France. Micheline came to the United States from France when she was 17 years old after enduring the horrors of WWII. She loved to dance, had a talent for sewing, and a fascination with archeology. By far, her greatest love was for her family which was the greatest gift for those she left behind.  She built a beautiful life here and will be missed by many.
