Michael F. Craze

Michael F. Craze, 79, of Ontario, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born October 11, 1941 in Hugheston, West Virginia, he was the son of Emanuel and Margaret (Tucker) Craze.
Mike was a 1961 graduate of Mansfield Senior High and a veteran of the United States Army. He had worked for Peabody Barnes and Gorman Rupp in the field service area. Mike was a member of the Ontario Lions Club where he served as past President, the Fun Center Chordsman of Mansfield, the Singing Buckeyes, and the Good Company Quartet of Mansfield. He was also a member of the Sons of Herman, the Ontario Booster Club and was a life member of the Amvets. Mike enjoyed golfing, traveling, singing, exercising and working in his yard.
He is survived by his children, Cara Guzman and Cherie Craze; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mason and Emerson; his brothers, Bill Craze and Dennis (Denise) Craze; and his nieces and nephews, Aaron Michael Craze, Jody Craze, Penny Murphy and Keith Craze.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Gilbert) Craze and a sister-in-law, Charlene Craze.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Friends may call prior to the service, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario Lions Club.
