Mary Joynt Ward, age 93, of Inverness, IL, formerly of Palatine, IL, and Waterloo, IA. Beloved wife of the late William J. Ward for 60 wonderful years. Loving mother of Michael J. (Julie Fischer) Ward, Patrick W. Ward and Thomas J. (Janet) Ward. Cherished grandmother of Jackson Fischer-Ward, Colleen Ward, Erin (Luke McNiff) Ward and Laura Ward. Mary was a graduate of Clarke College in Dubuque, IA. In addition to being a wonderful Mom and Grandma, Mary enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was an active member of different book clubs and other social groups. Mary was blessed with many long-term friendships, some dating back to her childhood. Funeral services will be held at Holy Family Parish, 2515 W Palatine Rd, Inverness, IL, on Friday, January 15, 2021.
