Martha Lucille Narens, 89, passed away July 1, 2025 in her Thornton, Colorado home. Martha was born on September 14, 1935 in Arkansas to Luther and Jewell Simpson. Her family moved to St. Louis where she met George Narens in the 4th grade. George and Martha married on December 29, 1956. They moved their family to Cedar Rapids, Iowa where they lived most of their adult lives.
Survivors include her husband, George Narens Jr.; children, Robert Fischbach (Becky) and Gwendolyn Wright (Randy); grandchildren, Leah Sutterfield, Jeremy Fischbach (Michelle), Melissa Wright (Joe Tomman), Elliott Wright (Kathryn); and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and son, George Narens III.
