Martha Carolyn Williams was born to Joshua Proctor and Martha Carolyn Hill on February 6, 1945 in Bedford, Ohio.
Martha Carolyn accepted Christ and was baptized at a young age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Twinsburg, Ohio. She was educated at RB Chamberlin High School. She had a heart of gold. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend to all lives she touched. She loved to travel in and out of the country, outings to local and travel bowling leagues, play games and cook. Carolyn was known for many delicious dishes. She offered a kind listening ear, offered advice, fed the hungry and was willing to assist anyone in need. She returned to work and retired from Bedford City Schools as a dedicated Building Service Worker where, she received certificates of appreciation and many recognitions for her hard work. Most of all she loved her family and friends. She instilled strong values that have served them well throughout their lives.
Martha Carolyn Williams, affectionately known as Carolyn and Mama C, journeyed to Heaven and was granted her angel wings on March 23, 2021 at the age of 76. She leaves to mourn her loving husband and the love of her life for 56 years, Marshall Williams Jr.; four children, Leslie D. Williams (Natasha), Keith A. Williams (Carla), Marshall D. Williams III (Angie), and Eric D. Williams (Kim); brother: Reginald P Hill (Judine), two sisters: Deborah Blocker Hill and Donna Dortch Hill; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Carolyn Davis-Hill, father, Joshua Proctor Hill, Grandmother Marie Fagalar, sisters: Alma Marie Spaulding, Diane Hill; brother: Gordon Von Hill and one child Sterling J. Williams.
