Mark Spillman

Mark Spillman, 66 of Bolivar, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in The Inn of Northwood at Dover surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 18, 1956 in Canton, Ohio, Mark was the son of the late Charles and Freda (McCune) Spillman. Mark was a passionate grain farmer and spent many hours on his family farm. He also enjoyed pulling his antique John Deere tractor, but his biggest joy was watching his boys play in their sports. He made sure that he never missed their activities as they were growing up.

On June 28, 1980, Mark married his wife, Wendy (Yoder) who survives. Also surviving are his sons, David (Katie) Spillman, Matt (Jenn) Spillman and Steven (Courtney) Spillman all of Bolivar; his grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Avery, Dalton, Savannah and Ethan; and his brothers, Kirk (Lori) Spillman of Zoar and Eric (Nancy) Spillman of Bolivar.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 4 to 7 PM, and one hour prior to the funeral service in the Geib Funeral Home at Dover. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Jack Pancher officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Laurens Cemetery at Bolivar.
