Maria Guadalupe “Lupina” Pasillas, 59, of Mount Prospect passed away peacefully on April 9, 2021. Beloved wife of 40 years to Manuel. Loving mother to Jackie (Steven), Ana (Angel), Gladys (Alejandro) and Karina. Cherished daughter of Isabel and Maria Guadalupe “Lupita”. Doting abuelita to Anthony, Steven, Jr., Ariana, Bianca, Tatiana, Giselle, Adrina, Gabriella, Faith and Destiny. Adored sister of Adela, Francisca, Salvador, Victor, Alicia, Maria Elia and Juan. Lupina was a loving wife and always had her family’s best interest in mind. She had a strong bond with anyone in her life, always gave a lending hand. She immigrated to the United States in 1981 to live the American dream and raise her family. She became a U.S. citizen on April 26, 1997. She will forever live in our hearts and we will cherish our memories with her. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 18 from 3-8pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine IL 60067. Due to covid-19 restrictions a mask must be worn inside the funeral home and only 50 people will be allowed inside the chapel at one time. Private Mass of the Resurrection will be held at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Interment All Saints Catholic Cemetery. More information call 847-359-8020.
