Maria Fiallos

Maria Fiallos, age 90 of Plano, IL passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Plano, IL, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 15, 1930 in Ecuador, the daughter of Marino and Leonor (Mora) Fiallos.

Maria was united in marriage to Mr. Luis Izurieta for many years until his passing. She is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Plano, IL. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Susy (Joel Castillo) Izurieta of Plano, IL; also her four grandchildren, Kevin Izurieta, Kaylee, Kaite, and Kelsey Castillo; her siblings, Raul (Rosalia) Fiallos and Olga (Arturo) Fiallos both of Ecuador.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marino and Leonor Fiall09os; her husband, Luis Izurieta; and several siblings.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1001 North Center Avenue, Plano, IL with Father Andy Davy, M.I.C., officiating. Interment will be private.

Friends may visit from 5:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street, Plano, IL.
