Sue primarily lived, worked and raised her family in Springfield, IL and for a time in Hannibal, MO. Sue was such a positive bubbly person, always having a smile on her face; a hug to be given and a devoted animal owner. Sue truly loved her family and friends and always wanted them to know exactly how important they were to her. It has been said the most recognizable aspect of Sue was her beautiful laugh.
Sue was a faith filled person who truly loved her Catholic Faith and was active in several different parishes during her life. An excerpt from a Linda Ellis poem, sums up those who loved Sue…”the important part to remember isn’t the dates of birth – death…what’s important is the ‘dash’ between those dates. What made her…her.”
Due to COVID a Memorial Mass will be delayed until Summer of 2021.
In honor of Sue’s decades long fight with Alzheimer’s, Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org
CDC Protocol shall be followed.
