M. Michelle “Mickey” Foster

M. Michelle “Mickey” Foster, 73, of Springfield, formerly of Bolingbrook, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born September 25, 1948 in Springfield, to John C. and Josephine Noonan Brennan. She married Steve Foster and enjoyed more than forty years of marriage,  he preceded her in death on May 22, 2017.

Survivors include two sons, Aaron (Rayna) Monfils of Courtland Manor, NY and  Mike (Tisha) Monfils of Rochelle, IL; five grandchildren, Tim, Meg, Kate, Dan, and Jon; one sister Denise Brennan of Indianapolis, IN and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and one brother, Pat Brennan.

Michelle was a graduate of Bishop Noll High School in Hammond, IN.  She was of the Lutheran Faith and was a homemaker.

She was an avid QVC shopper and loved keeping up with local politics in Bolingbrook and was a member of the Bolingbrook Jaycees.

Visitation: 12 – 2 pm, Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 2 pm, Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield, with Pastor Pam Mitcham officiating.

Cremation will take place following services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Jaycees: P.O. Box 2222, Springfield, IL 62705.

CDC protocol shall be followed.
