Luis Zamora

Luis Zamora, age 83, or Aurora, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Palos Medical Center in Palos Heights, IL. He was born on August 25, 1937 in Mexico, the son of Angel and Maximiana (Zamora) Hernandez.

Luis was a member of Templo Sion Church in Plano, IL.

He is survived by his son, Luis Carlos (Lori) Zamora of Seattle, WA; his granddaughter, Marlene Zamora of Rochelle, IL; as well as many siblings, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by her parents, Angel and Maximiana Zamora; his wife, Amalia Zamora who passed on December 18, 2021; and a grandson.

A Funeral Service will take place on 3:00 PM on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street, Plano, IL with Reverend Daniel Enriguez officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL.

A Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Plano.
