Lu was a stay-at-home mom until her youngest was ten years old and then she delved back into the workplace – first in retail, then in insurance. Lu and Terry loved to travel and went on many adventures both domestically and abroad. They often did Road Scholar trips to enhance the experience with local learning. They traveled to China, Spain, Ireland, and more. When Terry passed, Lu continued to travel and headed to places like Malta, Greece, Australia, and New Zealand. She also enjoyed two six-week language immersion experiences in Florence and Verona, Italy.
