Louis James Hunnicutt

Louis James (L.J.) Hunnicutt, 79, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, in Fort Worth. He was born October 9, 1943, in Wimberley, Texas to Theodore Franklin and Nancy Cox Hunnicutt.

L.J. was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jo Ann Hunnicutt, a great-grandson Casen Hunnicutt and by his siblings.

He is survived by his son, James Daryl Hunnicutt; daughter, Lori Pyles, and husband Jason; grandchildren, Janet, Doug, Louis, Aaron, Briar, Destiny, and Daria; and by numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6pm. to 8pm. Monday; June 12, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Lipan.

Graveside services will be held at 10am. Tuesday; June 13, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home of Lipan.
