Loretta T. Maslanka

Loretta T. Maslanka, age 94 of Oswego, IL passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Bickford of Oswego, Oswego, IL. She was born on June 17, 1926 in Chicago, IL the daughter of John and Adela (Radziszewski) Tyminski.

Loretta was united in marriage on June 2, 1946 to Mr. Edward Leonard Maslanka and they spent the next 49 years happily together until his passing on March 22, 1995. Mrs. Maslanka was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Loretta is survived by her children, William (Julia) Maslanka of Marco Island, FL, Susan L. Sondag of Oswego, IL and Thomas (Susanne) Maslanka of Schaumburg, IL; her grandchildren, Matthew Sondag, Sarah (Brian) Gonsiorowski, Danielle (Angel) Adan and Andrew Maslanka; her great-grandchildren, Johnathan, Alex, Michael, Benny, Collin and Lucy ; also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Maslanka; also her sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Leonard Maslanka.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.

Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
