Lindsay Masterhan Thompson, 42 of Central City, passed away on Wednesday, May 1 at home.

Lindsay was born in Cedar Rapids on December 19, 1982 to parents Victor Masterhan and Deborah Diveley Masterhan. She graduated from Central City High School.

On February 13, 2010 Lindsay was married to Andrew Thompson in Mason City, IA.

She is survived by her husband Andrew, her children Andrew Jr., Sequoia, Malachi, Hyrum and her stepchildren Annika, Landon and Jeremiah. Lindsay is also survived by her parents, Vic and Deb Masterhan, brother Verle Masterhan, grandparents Scott and Ada Diveley, mother-in-law Kim Loftis, and grandmother-in-law Linda Springer along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Lindsay was preceded in death by her grandparents, Verle and Mary Masterhan, father-in-law George Thompson, stepfather-in-law Bobby Loftis, grandmother-in-law Mary Thompson, aunt Wendy Wall and special sister-in-law Bryanna Fole.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 at 1:00 pm followed by a reception for family and friends. Service will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 4300 Trailridge Rd. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA.
