Linda Nell (Walcott) Myers

Linda Nell (Walcott) Myers

Linda Nell (Walcott) Myers passed away at home into the presence of her Lord Jesus on April, 16, 2021. She was born in Odessa, Texas on January 3, 1946 to Leitha May (Kincanon) Walcott and Carl Oliver Walcott.

She made her home in Granbury where she enjoyed visiting with family, reading her Bible, and sharing stories with her grandkids. When she was not doing those things, you can bet she was on the phone continuously encouraging and supporting her network of friends and family. Linda was most known for her infectious laugh, sharp wit, and the love of Jesus! Linda called several cities and states her home (Texas, California, Alaska). She made friends everywhere she lived, but more importantly she spent her life ministering. She used so much of her time to win lost souls, whether in prison ministry or at a restaurant or at any number of churches across America and Canada! Her boundless enthusiasm, optimism and Godly outlook on life was a testament of a life well lived. She has run the course; she has finished her race and has received her eternal reward!

Surviving her are her 3 children Carla Goodwin of Granbury, TX, Jason Moore and wife Audra of Granbury, TX and Misti Moore of Uvalde, TX;  11 grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Gayla Walker and husband Glen of McCamey, TX, Rhonda Mahan and husband Dudley of Granbury, TX.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father and her sister Carlene and grandson Carlos.

Please join us in a Celebration of Life service for Linda at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Wiley Funeral Home 400 E US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX 76048. We welcome you to share any life’s experiences you have had with Linda. We want to remember Linda in the way that she was known; with joy and full of laughter!
