Linda Kay Brazier

Linda Kay Brazier, 71, of Springfield, died on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center.  She was born November 1, 1949 in Springfield, to Dewey Lalton and Georgia Mae Seaman Bridges.  She married Jim L. Brazier on July 3, 1987 and they enjoyed over thirty-three years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, Jim; several nieces and nephews and her beloved pet, Marcie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; one brother; and four-legged companion, Patty.

Linda worked at various nursing homes as an LPN retiring after twenty years of service.

She was a regular donor with the Central Illinois Blood Center.  She loved to be active, with many walks and working out at the Fit Club.

Her greatest joy was spending time with Jim and their beloved pets.

Memorial Gathering: 10 – 11 am, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Memorial Service: 11 am, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Deacon Joe Cleaver officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
