Linda Crisp Marshall Glover
- October 15, 2021
Linda Crisp Marshall Glover, a wonderful mother, GG, “Mom Marshall” and friend, of Hendersonville, NC went to walk the golden streets with Jesus on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at her residence.
Linda was born on February 17, 1946 in Sylva, NC to the late Samuel Lee Crisp and Nina Ruth Crisp. Upon graduating West Henderson High School, she went on to attend Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. She was a loving mother, wonderful homemaker, devoted apple farmer, great flight attendant, and loyal friend to so many who sat with her on her back porch, and even to a perfect stranger who was fortunate enough to be walking by her. Linda’s warmth and glow had no barriers, and her smile was contagious. Her passion for the Lord could be seen or felt when engaged in conversation with her and also through her gentle, caring touch.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Delozier and her husband, Charles Glover.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Debbie Gallagher and Crystal Richey (Gregg); grandchildren who brightened up her life, Grace Gallagher, Marshall Gallagher, Brock Thomas Richey, Olivia (Anthony) Easterwood, Ashley (Brad) Lowell, and Julianna Richey; her older sister, Diane Owensby; many nieces and nephews, and Pat Garnett, her lifelong best friend until the very end.
The family will receive friends and family from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, 312 5th Ave. West Hendersonville, NC 28739. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Steve Scoggins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to First Baptist Church of Hendersonville at the address listed above.
