Leroy Guyton

Leroy Guyton was born May 31, 1958 to the late Joy Ellen (Bounds) Mack and Junior Guyton in Chicago, Illinois. Leroy lived in Mansfield the past 55 years. God called Leroy home Friday, April 30, 2021.

Leroy is survived by sisters, Mary (Greg) Simmons of Tucker, GA, Elgean Woods of Smyrna, GA, Rose Bounds and Darlene Allen of Mansfield, OH; brother, Billy Bounds of Marion, OH; bonus brothers and sisters, Jackie, Dell, Gloria (Baby), and Don (Fella) Williams; nieces and nephews, De Forest Roche, Rennelle Brown, Jermaine, Tajie, Joy, Shante Bounds, Mary Francis (Will) Ward, Darrell “Tookie” Smith, and Tasha Allen; a host of great nieces, nephews; a host of cousins and friends; aunts, Alice Faye Bounds of Millport, Alabama; and special friends, Michael Shields, Jevita Perkins, and Bobby Hess.

In addition to his parents, Leroy was also preceded in death by uncle, Houston Bounds; aunt, Fostine Bounds; his grandparents; and step father, Nathaniel Mack.

Family and friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 am on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. Pastor Gerald Murphy will officiate the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 am. Leroy will be laid to rest at Mansfield Cemetery at a later date.
