Laverne H. Thomas

Laverne H. Thomas age 80, went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2022. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Sylvester Thomas.

Laverne is survived by her daughters Julie Thomas and Alisa Thomas Dempsey (Jay); grandchildren, Phillip and Samantha Parker and Zachary Dempsey; siblings, R.C. Herring, John Harris, Betty Starke (Evans), and Clifford Griffin (Sandra), along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Laverne was preceded in death by her siblings; Bernice Brown (Russell), Frank Herring (Janie) Robert Herring (Sylvia, and Lucille Gilbert (Al).
