Kristen Bozanek, 76, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, at Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband for 58 years, Frank Bozanek; son, Steven (Lori) Bozanek; daughter, Shelly (Rick) Roman; grandchildren, Erin (Bryan) Seevell, Amber (Matt) Tatum, Jacob (Angela) Roman, Ashley Heiar and Logan Bozanek; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Charlee, Max, Dani, Luke and Ben.

Kristen was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, along with many friends.

Kristen Bozanek was born Nov. 23, 1946, in Des Moines. Raised in Cedar Rapids, graduated in 1965 from Jefferson High School. Married Frank in July 1965 at Olivet Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids. Kristen was a loving wife and mother, and a volunteer at her church.

The family would like to thank Mercy Medical Center and Oldorf Hospice House for their wonderful care of Kristen.

Memorials donations may be given to Olivet Presbyterian Church.
