Kenneth Webber, 94, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.

Private family services will be held at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, with interment in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Monticello. The Rev. Kris Kincaid will officiate at the services. Surviving Kenneth are four children, Terry (Gail) Webber, Julie (Scott) Render, Carol (Scott) Cierzan and Larry (Lisa Tarson) Webber; six grandchildren; and his brothers, James (Barb), Loras (Laura) and Marvin (Joan).

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; and brothers, Claire, Larry, Matt, John, Carl and an infant brother, LeRoy.

Kenneth Anthony Webber was born Nov. 14, 1927, at Holy Cross, Iowa. He was the son of John T. and Gertrude Schmitt, Webber. Kenny graduated from the Sacred Heart High School in 1945. He then served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After his discharge from the Army, he married Dorothy Hanssen April 12, 1952, at Kirksville, Missouri. The couple made their home in Monticello. Kenny was employed at Energy Manufacturing in Monticello. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He loved playing golf and was an active member of the Monticello Golf Club.
