Kayla “Bug” Nicole Spencer

Kayla “Bug” Nicole Spencer, age 26, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.  The daughter of Randall and Kimberly Goff Spencer of Hendersonville, she was born in Danville, Virginia on August 19, 1995.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ralph Parker; and one niece, Paisley Grace Spencer.

Kayla, who was known to be free-spirited and fun-loving, had a huge heart, always caring for those she loved. At the age of 3, she began clogging where she took a love for dancing and hula hooping.  She had recently enrolled in the Nursing Program at AB Tech Community College in Asheville.  Kayla loved her cats, but most of all, she loved her family and friends.

Left to cherish her precious memories, in addition to her parents, two brothers, Christopher Goff and Matthew Dylan Spencer and his wife,  Alexandra; one niece, Presley Emerson Spencer; and her paternal grandmother, Brenda Spencer.

A celebration of Kayla’s life will be held.  The date, time and location will be announced once it has been confirmed.
